Puerto Rican beauty, Valerie Hernandez stood out among
her competitors to be crowned the newly Miss International
2014 yesterday.
The 21-year-old student and model from Carolina, Puerto
Rico, was crowned on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 by now
former Miss International 2013 who won the crown last
year, Bea Santiago from Philippines at the beauty
pageant’s 54th annual event held at the Grand Prince Hotel
Takanawa in Tokyo, Japan.
Simply elated, Valerie was totally lost for words and simply
said: ‘As Miss International, I want to send a message of
love, peace, and unity.’
Valerie Hernandez won the competition alongside (1st
Runner – up) Zuleika Suarez from Colombia , (2nd Runner
– up) Punika Kulsoontornrut from Thailand, (3rd Runner
up) Victoria Tooby from United Kingdom and (4th Runner
up) Milla Romppanen from Finland .
