He once said in an interview that he deliberately stepped down for the younger comedians to have the space to shine.


However, Ali Baba is set to make a huge statement with his January 1, 2015 comedy show simply tagged ‘January 1 Concert and he has announced top pop stars including D’banj , Jaywon and Sound Sultan as music stars that would thrill at the event alongside a long list top comedians.

 Although more names are expected to be added to the list, it is an indication that the comic icon is intensely preparing for the concert scheduled to hold at the Expo Hall of Eko Hotel and Suites.
